The term post-editing refers to the process of linguistic revision – by a professional who is knowledgeable about both the language and the content in question – of texts translated by a machine translation engine. At the end of the process, the text meets the quality criteria typical of human translation and allows for the processing of large volumes of content in a short time.

Of course, post-editing cannot be used for all types of text, but it works very well for a large number of translation projects. After pre-translation, performed with state-of-the-art machine translation engines (neural technology), our team of professional post-editors, both in-house and freelance, fully revise the automatically translated text, making use of the same tools used in traditional translation (terminology databases and translation memories) to ensure that the client's terminology is followed, thereby maximising the potential of automatic translation and achieving the customer's goals. The quality of the final product is the same as that of a human translator.
